Review of London to Brighton (2006) by Craig C — 15 Sep 2007
An English gangster film without the laughs. Stark, gritty and taut throughout. I was either cringing or staring at the screen. As with ?Irreversible? really good well made film but the subject matter is harsh.
This film is by no means any where as polished as ?irreversible? but I wonder if they had a bigger budget if the film would have been as good. Paul Andrew Williams is a director to watch.
