I'm not sure what's more depressing, that this sort of thing goes on or that entertainment is made about it. The film hinged on the twist, which unfortunately was obvious. The film relied on a sick and disturbing storyline to hide a bad script and lack of imagination.
Hard Candy examined the same idea and delivered a better film.
