A good, hard, and well made film. At times it felt like it was trying a little too hard to be cool or gritty, but usually it was done well enough. Joanne, while played well by Georgia Groome, either was poorly cast as a twelve year old or the character was poorly written as a twelve year old.
It was a bit distracting, but not enough to bring the film down completely.
