Review of Lolita (1962) by Shireen Z — 23 Sep 2008
Unlike his novel Nabokov wrote this screenplay as an acerbic dark comedy. What makes this work are brilliant performances all around. James Mason is sympathetic, Peter Sellers - vile, Sue Lyon - totally believable as scheming ingenue.
