Review of Lion (2015) by Late R — 23 Jun 2018
With a particularly powerful and immersive first-half and a beautiful, touching ending, 'Lion' is an amazing real-life story told wonderfully through the medium of film. It's a gorgeously shot and very well-acted (both Sunny Pawar and Dev Patel are wonderful in the role of Saroo) drama that most definitely achieves what it set out to do: tug at your heartstrings and leave you feeling a strong mixture of emotions.
