Review of Lenny (1974) by Matthew O — 26 Dec 2007
It wasn't a smooth film, with it's mockumentary elements and it suffered to the stereotyping too much to be unique. Also, I'm not sure having all of the stand-up performance added to the film's value.
Having said this, note that most of the film was alright, but having it's reputation - overrated.
