How does one find love (or genuine human connection) in an increasingly maddening world? antonioni poses this question to the audience and leaves the answer open for interpretation. there are certainly some flaws in this film (some sequences in the stock market could probably be trimmed), but this film makes a nice statement about modern society.
I absolutely loved the closing sequence though.
