Review of L'Eclisse (1962) by Hesham A — 01 Aug 2011
This is the first film I see for Michelangelo Antonioni. So , I am not used to his world & I knew this film was the end of his trilogy.
The Plot is poor & the reciting is not that ordinary one we're used to but a lot of other things may compensate that :
1) Amazing control of Camera & actors movement inside & outside of the frame.
2) playing with shades ( black & white spaces ).
3) excellent editing appearing in the final scene.
Maybe Antonioni's language isn't that easy but it's very respected.
