L' Eclisse (1962).

This is a very slow-moving Michelangelo Antonioni film about emptiness, meaningless capitalism, and a lack of communication. Scenes just drag on forever, for no reason at all, except that they do in classic Italian cinema.

Monica Vitti and Alain Delon are very beautiful people to look at, but this movie is not for the typical ADHD sufferer. :-) For that reason alone, I'm taking away one star. Another movie, Blow-Up was a slow one too, so this is his style.

The film begins with Vitoria (Vitti) breaking up with Riccardo (Francisco Rabal). When she meets up with her mom (Lilla Brignone), who is addicted to the stock market. At the stock exchange, she meets a broker, Piero (Delon). They begin a short affair.

Now, I explained the movie in four sentences, but the movie lasts 126 minutes. I'd like to say that your patience will be rewarded, but...
