Review of Leaves of Grass (2009) by Chutes J — 11 Oct 2010
Wildly uneven in tone: there are plenty of laughs to be found in the dual roles of Edward Norton, Richard Dreyfuss' nasally menorah wielding drug kingpin, John Bais' psychotically pathetic orthodontist, and the hillbilly pot world personified in Tim Blake Nelson's sidekick.
But there are some real dark moments too, blood splattered dark moments that will set you aback some. An interesting movie if not a completely successful one. VF.
