Review of Leatherheads (2008) by Stephen L — 11 Feb 2010

I was uninterested when I saw the previews because football movies are usually boring but honestly, this movie isn't so much about football as it is about relationships, gender roles, prohibition, government regulation, etc.

in the 20s and 30s. I'd say the theme is finding a place in the brave, new 20th century world. Great cast, great costumes, some good humor. Overall though I don't think it packed the punch it could have.
