I feel like I need to watch this again because I wasn't disappointed by it exactly, just kind of underwhelmed. I liked how Antonioni completely sidestepped the viewer's expectations for what comes next in the plot, but for what it amounted to I don't think it needed to be longer than two hours.
But if I'm giving it 4 stars I must have liked it a lot more than I'm letting on.
