Review of L'Avventura (1960) by Noah R — 12 Jul 2009
A generous three stars because it is a well-made and well-acted film. Antonioni is a proper filmmaker and obviously this can't be considered complete garbage. Here's my problem: I hated those characters.
I didn't care about what happened to any of them. It's just 140 minutes of annoying rich people moaning. As a result, I found L'Avventura life-threateningly dull.
