Proving once again that the "Final Chapter" subtitle means nothing, the Lake Placid franchise rolls into a unneeded crossover with another forgotten monster franchise. While it's mostly picking up from the last Lake Placid movie, there are some concepts and nods to the previous Anaconda films as well.
The effects are awful, and there are too many silly moments. The cast isn't great, even with its star power. Laughable, ridiculous to describe, and utterly uninteresting.
