Review of Lady and the Tramp (1955) by Andrew B — 29 Oct 2012

More than a simple nostalgia vehicle, Lady and the Tramp is a genuinely heartwarming, if a trifle air-headed yarn from Disney's golden age. It contains a surprisingly effective emotional punch, even for mature audiences and of course is technically stunning, boasting silky smooth animation and great voice performances.

Though as previously mentioned this isn't a particularly deep film, it's all the more enjoyable for it and a powerful pick-me-up. As far as Disney fanatics are concerned, it is of course a classic and a mandatory watch.
