Review of Lady and the Tramp (1955) by Rory N — 20 May 2016
Lady and the Tramp is an all time classic Disney movie. It has all the adventure, romance, and music that defines a Disney movie. Even if you don't like dogs, I guarantee that the movie can still keep you invested in what's happening.
The whole story functions as a love story and doesn't worry it self with some classic movie expectations, most notably an antagonist. Debatably the cats are the villains, but they are in the movie for 5 minutes tops and don't qualify as villains.
And who can forget Bella Note, the main theme of the movie. That one song conveys emotions of all kinds and presented us with the famous spaghetti kiss, which would be re created in many pop culture hits.
The movie has great characters, great music, and proves it is the best animal film Disney had made. Aristocats and 101 Dalmatians cannot compare to this masterpiece.
