Review of Lady and the Tramp (1955) by Adrian Z — 08 Jul 2014
Lady and the Tramp is a heartwarming romance between pedigreed, house trained Lady (voiced by Peggy Lee) and impulsive street dog Butch. Silky smooth animation looks lovely in Cinemascope, and along with the delightful songs by Sonny Burke and a tuneful score by Oliver Wallace, make this not only a good story for young and old, but a strong audio visual treat.
