Review of La Strada (1954) by Tans D — 16 May 2009
Moving and incredibly well made, La Strada remains one of the greatest films ever. I've only see a couple Fellini films, but so far this is the best. Giulietta Masina is absolutely perfect as the lead character who you truly sympathize for.
Anthony Quinn plays the perfect "villain" who you also start to sympathize for towards the end. So many memorable scenes, but the best is the touching ending.
