Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Jared G — 24 Jun 2008
.If you've seen Lost in Translation, add an hour to it, set it in 1960's Italy with paparazzi, actresses, and a journalist and you have La Dolce Vita. There's a lot more to it, but that's what you're getting yourself into when you start it.
Yes, it's very well shot. It's funny. It's eccentric. It's well acted and well made. Very little really happens. It's Fellini. Go figure.
