Absolutely magnificent and stunning to view! The visuals are enveloping. It's definitely not controversial anymore; however, no doubt, back in 1960, it's themes and visuals must've been quite scandalous! This film ties with "Nashville" as my all-time favorite! I've seen it at least two-dozen times -- as with "Nashville.
