Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Beahbeatz D — 29 Jun 2009
The italian citizen kane except way more avant garde and artistic... some of the greatest poetic metaphorical cinema since the great igmar bergman... watching this movie made me feel the same way when I listen to classic music or looking at a painting that doesnt make sense.
.. a lot of twists and turns yet so fully excpected it makes it feel like your own life in a way. "La Dolce Vita" is a perfect paradoxial title especially the ending which will probly make viewers very mad, cuz its very puzzling because theres no movie made like this one.
This movie is just like how I felt at the end... empty yet fufilling kinda like sleeping and waking up everyday, probly the most complexing yet awestruck movies made yet watching it I learn more and more about not only the movie and its meaning or lack of but about myself!
