Review of Kuroneko (1968) by James-Masaki R — 09 Jun 2012
The black cat is a devilish creature in many cultures, including Japanese culture. Kaneto's "Kuroneko" is a ghastly tale of revenge, shapeshifters, and also a love story as well. Very creepy, and shot in stark black and white, it's a Japanese horror classic.
Up there with "Onibaba".
