Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Imthenoob — 22 Mar 2017
The plot is kind of typical and predictable but the beauty of the film lies in the CG and the entertaining fights with Kong and his fellow monsters. That's the whole point of big monster films - To see big monsters fight. Don't water it down with a shallow plot and rarely feature the key character (much like they did with the new Godzilla). From the start, Kong is a front and center character and is given plenty of screen time through out.
It's a solid film and I can't wait for Godzilla vs Kong.
