Review of Knives Out (2019) by Franzhcritic — 30 Nov 2019
I was expecting it to be a better, owing to its trailer putting Daniel Craig as the front and center of the film. Despite the misleading marketing, 'Knives Out' was still a well-written and performed whodunit, with a terrific ensemble and a surprisingly clever twist at the end.
I would say that some scenes could have been longer and others shouldn't have been there at all. It was still a fun and clever film in the spirit of Agatha Christie, and Rian Johnson can move on from 'The Last Jedi' with this.
