"Knife in the Water" is a simple, but devastatingly thick film. A couple and a young, vibrant hitchhiker they pick up along the way go out sailing for the day. Males clash, and the woman becomes the object of their desire.
It's sexy, it's raw, it's symbolic, simply put, it's spectacular. The film takes place entire on a boat, the area is so small that the tension and feeling the film produces becomes astronomical.
"Knife in the Water" is a real teaser, it touches, it provokes, it sometimes pushes away, but it never lets you go. A great film.
