Review of Knife in the Water (1962) by Michael D — 16 Oct 2017

I loved all the tension, but the premise of this overconfident guy picking up a hitchhiker and then taking him out on the boat with them felt crazy to me. I liked the bookends of the couple in the car fighting (but not in an overt way).

I also sort of hate the idea of going out on a boat all day...that doesn?t sound like fun. I did appreciate the sprinkling of jazz throughout I felt that created a nice tone. I think this movie was better being in black and white.

..not sure if it would have been as good in colour.
