Review of Kiss the Ground (2020) by Nicomedi — 26 May 2021
When looking at a planet in crisis, directors Joshua and Rebecca Tickell leave a positively refreshing outlook for the future in Kiss the Ground’s groundbreakingly simple proposition to save our planet.
Throughout the optimistic vision that Tickell has created, there is never a voice of doubt in any of the diverse voices included in the film. Whether it comes from the strong voice of agricultural experts to the calming presence of celebrity activists, such as Jason Mraz and Patricia Arquette, the film eases audiences into the effective objective of a regenerative planet.
Using this bright variety of stars in the film, in tandem with the beautifully magnificent shots of each location, creates a sight to behold for any viewer. From the plains of Africa to the ecologically rich regions of China, the cinematography pulls audiences into learning more about the Kiss the Ground movement.
Should anyone be looking for an optimistically positive vision for our planet, Kiss the Ground delivers audiences an enlightening experience for all.
