Review of King of Hearts (1966) by Laura J — 02 Dec 2007
Funny in a cute, quaint way. It's about a WWI soldier trying to save a town full of escaped lunatics, since the Germans plan to blow it all up at midnight. The loonies show him a great time and he escapes temporarily from the harsh reality of the war going on around them. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs to write an essay about anti-war films...this would definitely have analytic potential.
Also if you'd like to see Alan Bates's naked bum, it's a great one.
