Review of The Big Parade (1925) by Roy S — 10 Nov 2007
This film contains the single most appallingly funny title card in a silent film. I really did fall off the couch laughing. I know I'm supposed to comment on how eerie or compelling it is, but Vidor isn't my favorite early director (putting it kindly) and if I had to choose one his films, I'd take The Crowd.
