Review of King Kong (1933) by Andrew B — 21 Oct 2011
The bloated Peter Jackson remake can go hang. The original classic is where it's at when it comes both to sheer visual spectacle and emotion. While the effects are of course dated by today's standards, they stand up next to later films like Clash Of The Titans, demonstrating just how incredible they are for the time the film was released.
