Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Jamie P — 23 Jun 2018
As a long time Jurassic Fan who has wanted to see more but something different added to franchise to the point it was acted out in lego years ago...........This is that!!!
Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Isla Nublar is about to explode linearly by a dormant volcano that isn't so dormant anymore...Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) is trying to save the inhabitants from extinction....again, but governments and an Ian Malcolm cameo believe that God is trying to right the wrongs that John Hammond created years ago. By off chance a....man who works for Hammond's former partner has an idea to save them and place them on an island where they will be safe. All they need is someone to help capture the last remaining Velicoraptor and that is how Chris Pratt is dragged in. But as always with private corporate folk that isn't their true intentions here.
Surprising how quick the movie went, didn't feel like two hours at all.
We start off with possible the best opening of the series!! (well 2nd to the original) where it is intense, action packed and scary! Everything the last two missed! Possible because it was at night in the rain but it was awesome!!!!
The usual low point of these films since the first was the unnecessary need to have children involved! 3 and World was like please....just eat the lil bastards! This one the poor kid, who has an interesting and different back story is some one who is in the wrong place at the wrong time dragged into something she had no choice in and I actually cared about her.
It has everything from action, suspense, tear jerking moments and at times just funny!
Critics get stuffed! and take Last Jedi with you! 4 stars!
