Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Derekscritic — 01 Jan 2019
Instead of being a worthy sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is concerned about setting up for another sequel and it fails at being a good movie. In the film, the writing is absolutely terrible with several bad decisions that ruin the franchise. The scene about auctioning the dinosaurs off was awful and made absolutely no sense. Also, the ending was one of the worst I've ever seen that takes the series way too far. Here's where I'm referring to the film setting up for a sequel as the dinosaurs are in our world. That is just going to make a terrible sequel to this movie. In fact, there's even more criticism as most of the characters are completely uninteresting and forgettable. Seriously, the only good thing about this film are the action scenes and visuals, but even some of their choices there are questionable.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has to be one of the worst films of 2018. It's a sequel to a film that is setting up for another sequel. At this point, I'm done watching any new Jurassic World films as the concept has now gone way too far. Please don't watch this film! I don't think that Jurassic Park needed sequels after The Lost World and this is proof. By far, this film has to be the worst in the series.
