Review of Juliet of the Spirits (1965) by Brian S — 29 Mar 2009
A colorful, vibrant, and surreal flight of fancy that only Fellini could deliver, with extraordinary, imaginative dream-like - and sometimes nightmarish - imagery and excellent color cinematography by Gianni di Venanzo, and a superb central performance from Giulietta Masina.
An absolute classic. Another great, jubilant score by Nino Rota.
