Funny and sometimes much more then the usual adam sandler clone. I must admit I had a few laughs and have since added this to my video library. its not the greatest comedy but the cast is quite likable.
The story of joe dirt is likable and david spade overcomes the usual sidekick routine to own the role. I had the odd the laugh and enjoyed the short running time but in the end its forgettable. the films short comings are noticable in the the comedy which is forced and sometimes crude but if you can overcome these you'll enjoy a film that is flawed but interesting.
