Review of Joe Dirt (2001) by Kevin P — 31 Oct 2017

I don't know WHO the critics meant by target audience, but I doubt if it is me, an over educated female who grew up in the 70s. This is one of my favorite feel good movies, and whenever I see it replaying on some cable channel I am compelled to usually rewatch it, which is something I never do with movies (I rarely even watch movies and usually fall asleep at the theater).

All the characters are great, in the same way the characters in Tremors were wonderful. I loved this movie, critics love things like Hamilton and other yawn inducing "entertainment" so if you want to laugh and cry, try watching this.
