My friend gave a VCD of this movie last Christmas. I decided to watch it. Honestly, I understand if Jesus Christ Superstar would be underappreciated in this current generation. Take note-- 2008 is 35 years from 1973. The thing that I liked about the movie is the songs. They are very memorable musical masterpieces, especially I Don't Know How to Love Him. However, the movie became a little long that I almost fell asleep. As I read, it would have been better off as a musical. Moviegoers would not bear to be seated for three hours watching a film!
All in all, I kinda liked it. My sister didn't.
