Great all-ages movie. Excellent special effects that still hold up after all these years. Also a marvelous musical-dance scene. Casting is just ho-hum. Where's the charisma, the physical attractiveness! Oh well, this was a no-star picture to allocate the $$ elsewhere.
Those who appreciate this should watch Harryhausen's Mysterious Island.
