Review of Jason and the Argonauts (1963) by Scott J — 18 Sep 2015
The movie itself is by no means a masterpiece, but it is very entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The stop motion is definitely the main highlight, and the skeletons are awesome. Ray Harryhausen was the master of stop motion special effects, and may he rest in piece (1920-2013).
This film is one of my favorites, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't good. If you want a fun, magical film for the whole family, or just for yourself, this would be it.
