Review of Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer (2007) by Magill F — 24 Jan 2009

This movie was AWESOME! I'm so pleased to see something like this coming out of my home town. The gore is great, the script is clever, the special effects are straight out of the 80's (but that's what makes them so incredibly fun to watch), it's funny, it's cool, it's everything you'd want out of an adventure/horror/comedy.

If you like Evil Dead, you'll love Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer. In fact, my only complaint about the movie is that I walked out wanting more. And y'know, that's not a bad thing.
