I really hate Dogme films so my opinion on this one may be a little biased. The characters are a mix and match when it comes to acting ability. I felt I was able to empathize with some characters over others.
The movie is shot on video which is interesting because it gives it the feel of a home movie. This breaks one of the Dogme rules but I think that it is acceptable since it gives the movie a more realistic vibe.
Dogme fans will probably love this but for everyone else I would not recommend this movie.
