Review of Instant Family (2018) by Acacia — 25 Nov 2018
I loved this movie! It is sweet, funny, frustrating and heartwarming. Rose Byrne and Mark Wahlberg are great as Ellie and Pete, a happily married couple who renovate and flip houses. But, something is missing from their lives.
They decide to go to an adoption event and see what it is all about. The story goes from there and we follow them through the fostering process and see all the pitfalls and difficulties they experience.
It is predictable and often too pat, but it is still fun to watch. We all four enjoyed it very much.
