This is the best movie I've seen in years. Because we are an adoptive family I went to see it by myself first to see if it was appropriate for my son. We went back to see it together the next day and sat in the back row.
We both cried and laughed. It was such a cathartic experience. This movie was a gift. If I met the filmmakers I would tell them that thank you. We recognized the people, the challenges, the guilt, the sorrow and the joy.
It gave us a platform to discuss things that were hard to discuss. We're going back to see it with the entire family., and we are all going back through the foster parent training program one more time.
