Review of Inner Senses (2002) by Snail * — 10 Nov 2007
Leslie Cheung's last film before his tragic death is short on scares (the ones that work are inspired and worthy of a jump or two though), but this still remains a taunt and creepy affair. The performances are excellent and touching, and the story takes a different approach from other horrors by suggesting that visions of ghosts occur as a by-product of a culture that immerses it's people in ghost stories from birth until death.
