Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Sam R — 28 May 2007

I felt like this movie did a surprisingly good job of showing the ambiguity of the debate, and the ending is an especially poignant shot of literally weighing science versus religion. It was filled with amusing lines, making it entertaining and still somewhat deep.

It doesn't earn 5 stars because some of Spencer Tracy's speeches were a little over the top, but really, this isn't the simple framing you might expect.
