Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Chris L — 31 Mar 2013
I know many will disagree with my thoughts on this movie but as the movie helps show everyone is allowed there own opinion as long as you have both sides of the story to make that opinion...This is a movie that I have watched several times and each time I watch it still has the power to draw me in.
A movie that was made in 1960s about a trial that happened in the 1930s and this could be made today with the same impact and truth. As we live today and get closer and closer to the government being in complete control of our lives, this movie brings up the process of "Free Thinking" Wow what a concept.
While watching this lose the attitude towards the religious aspect and really think about the over all meaning. This movie is not about the fight of Religion vs. Darwin it is about the ability to make your own decisions.
The battle between Tracy and March is outstanding.
