Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Kelvin S — 11 Sep 2008
Notwithstanding the flawed arguments Tracy's 'Darrow' makes against the Biblical account of Creation, this film is valuable in its underlying secondary theme; the titular lesson that is of particular import to persons of Faith.
This poignant secondary theme is taken from Proverbs 11:29, "He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind", and all Christians would do well to study the film story for this moral.
