Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Sharon W — 10 Jun 2009

I really enjoyed "The Departed" so once I found out that "Infernal Affairs" is the original on which Scorsese based his movie I was excited to check it out. "Infernal Affairs" is a great, well-paced movie with subtle effective acting, good story telling and really nice camera work.

It has a slightly different, more philosophical ending compared to the "The Departed", which actually works better than Scorsese's over-the-top way of telling the audience who to root for.

I definitely recommend this one and am looking forward to watching "Infernal Affairs 2" next week.
