Review of Infernal Affairs (2002) by Mark P — 30 May 2010
Admirably restrained Hong Kong cop thriller where the violence pulses beneath the surface but never spoils the expertly wrought dramatic tension. It's hard to recommend this highly enough. And yes, for better or worse, it is unquestionably far superior to Scorsese's Departed remake.
If you are ever losing faith in films just go out there and drink this in.
