Refreshing musical that helped tell a beautiful story about a dying neighborhood. It gets points from me for having good music and an easy, family friendly story line. The ending might be a lil disappointing.

Not the worst musical I've seen, but not the best. Well made considering how on the nose the lyrics are and the limits of the cast and the set. Gets less points because some songs were changed or taken out or rearranged.

Wouldn't bother you if u hadn't seen the original or listened to the music beforehand. The music is really good and I like that it has a happy ending. Might not be better than other lin Manuel made musicals tho.

Still a solid 7 :) although not the best and it's Disney made, so that was upsetting. It definitely felt like a Disney original except it wasn't theirs in the first place. Good movie, just wish disney would stop stealing movies and plots and making them their own.

So besides the obvious Disney type editing and style, it still was a good adaptation of a musical that I hope will join classics like wicked and the sound of music.
