Review of In the Heights (2021) by Unclewillard — 28 Jun 2021

A sure sign that critics will **** all over themselves reviewing something is the fact that either the writer or director is a person of color and or part of the LGBTQ community. Shouldn't really matter, but those are the facts; if they are in any one of these groups, the reviews will be 9-10.

Case in point this piece of crap. I hate musicals, so it was never going to resonate with me, but the level of shilling and simping over this thing is unconscionable. Much like Hamilton, it's a total miss for me.

I can appreciate good songs, good choreography, acting and cinematography, but this had none of that.
